When new statewide laws threatened to keep a business from running in Arkansas, Acoustical Control built multiple permanent walls at several existing compressor stations that would keep the customer compliant with these new requirements. The state of Arkansas had recently established sound requirements for existing as well as new compressors stations. The customer’s existing stations had coolers outside of the building which were not compliant with the new state laws. Sound modeling was conducted on each site to illustrate that the design would provide the needed result. After building the permanent walls around the coolers, the stations were now in compliance and the customer was no longer in danger of being shut down.
